Lake Central Tennis Earns Multiple IHSTECA Postseason Honors The Lake Central tennis program was well represented in the Indiana Tennis Coaches Association (IHSTECA) postseason awards, showcasing the team’s strong performance and academic excellence this season. Sophomore Ethan Cordova earned All-District honors for his outstanding play as a singles competitor. Cordova consistently delivered key wins throughout the year, establishing himself as one of the top underclassmen in the region. In doubles competition, the duo of Tony Zervos and Joe Devine was also recognized as All-District selections. The senior-sophomore pairing proved to be a formidable team, anchoring Lake Central’s doubles lineup. Adding to the program’s accolades, Coach Ralph Holden was named District Coach of the Year, a reflection of his leadership, team development, and commitment to excellence. Lake Central also earned recognition for academic achievement, with seniors Keri Conrath and Tony Zervos both named to the Academic All-State Team. Their success in balancing athletics and academics is commendable. It was a banner postseason for the Indians; much congratulations to all.
